Sharon Fincannon has served in deliverance and inner-healing ministry for more than three decades, walking with individuals toward freedom, restoration, and spiritual wholeness.
Her journey into deliverance ministry began in 1994 while attending a church in Virginia known for its work helping former satanists find freedom and healing in Christ. Recognizing Sharon’s spiritual gifting, church leadership invited her into formal deliverance training. Her early formation included extensive study of Derek Prince and Bob Mumford, followed by in-depth, in-house training from pastors representing three different countries. Sharon was later invited to serve on the church’s deliverance team, led by a pastor and his wife who had overseen the ministry for more than 17 years. During this time, the team worked closely with a local Christian counseling center specializing in deliverance, inner healing, and long-term support for those coming out of satanism.
It was also during these formative years that Sharon sensed the Lord calling her to disciple women, responding to the leading of the Holy Spirit through prayer, teaching, and mentorship.
In 2009, Sharon began attending a church south of Atlanta that hosted an annual deliverance seminar based on the principles found in A More Excellent Way by Dr. Henry Wright. She attended the seminar to learn their approach, integrating their insights with her existing experience. After relocating to the Atlanta area in 2015, Sharon was invited to assist with the seminar, serving as emcee, participating in prayer ministry, and teaching classes.
Through her husband’s career in the film industry, Sharon also began leading Bible studies for women working in entertainment, offering discipleship, mentorship, and ongoing deliverance and inner-healing prayer in a demanding and often spiritually challenging environment.
In addition to her ministry background, Sharon’s extensive experience as a paralegal and law office manager has shaped her understanding of spiritual authority and discernment, particularly in relation to prayer and the “courtroom of heaven.”
Sharon continues to minister deliverance and inner-healing prayer as the Lord leads, with a heart to see lives restored, identities strengthened, and believers walk in lasting freedom.
